Our Philosophy is to minister to the poorest of the poor and the neediest of the needy. The logo of HCDI is a three-sided cross with one side open, symbolizing openness to all good ideas and actions, leading to absorption of the denied and deprived into its influence. The spiritual dimension of the cross is created by the light emanating from beyond the figuration, suggesting the infinity of divinity. The three-sided grey cross is the symbol of KNH, the prime organization, and is placed in the center. Partnering projects in India are depicted in three concentric lines. Blue denoting humanity, faith, truth and hope – suggests “Grow and Glow”.

HCDI has a vision of children, youth and communities growing up in a holistic and friendly environment, to fulfill the God-given human potential within them, and thereby become creatively productive, responsible and caring citizens to promote equality and justice, peace and harmony in the society and to create a harmonious, equitable and sustainable global community.

HCDI, in partnership with the Churches and other Christian Organizations with similar objectives as that of HCDI, endeavors to serve children, youth and communities who are alienated, deprived and marginalized for any reason whatsoever, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, sex or religion by facilitating them with opportunities for a wholesome growth within a community setting, to realize their full God-given human potential, thereby enabling them to be productive and economically self reliant, socially responsible, spiritually alert and ecologically friendly.

Our corporate performance is perceptible and measurable and subject to critical evaluation and social audit. We believe in Ecumenism and as such we are united in faith under the banner of our lord and that our oneness is our indivisible strength. Through aggregate pooling of our beliefs, convictions and material, human and spiritual resources and focusing on our shared vision and mission, we are able to project our image and identify as a corporate soul and juristic personality that strives for the creation of a harmonious, equitable and sustainable community.
